Lead NLP Algorithm Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the international deployment of algorithms for new short video products, conducting research on emerging applications and solutions within fields such as search, recommendation, and conversational AI. Focus on enhancing intelligent user interactions, boosting user experience, encouraging creativity, and delivering added value.
• Primary areas of focus include:
1. Improving conversational interaction experiences and extending capabilities with new technologies, such as search optimization and plug-in integration.
2. Applying advanced techniques to enhance search and recommendation system effectiveness, including data production, model training/distillation, and performance optimization.
3. Monitoring and implementing the latest industry advancements, such as prompt engineering, fine-tuning, plug-in management, and session handling, to drive innovation within the product.
4. Engaging in forward-looking research to explore new application scenarios, ensuring the team's technology remains cutting-edge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in machine learning, recommendation systems, or search algorithms.
• Strong programming skills with proficiency in C/C++ or Python, and a solid foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Hands-on experience with NLP technologies, particularly in large language models (LLMs), summarization, NER, and prompt engineering.
• Competitive programming background preferred, with notable achievements in platforms like ACM/ICPC, TopCoder, or Kaggle.
