Sales Executive - Projects

Job description

Our clients are looking for a Sales Executive - Projects to play a pivotal role in managing relationships with Architects, Contractors, and Developers, bring in new business and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. They are a reputable company committed to providing innovative technologies and unparalleled customer service.

To be successful in this role you would bring knowledge and understanding of the building materials market (e.g. security, door, paint, building management, elevator, etc.) and ability to work together with contractors/project developers to sell such products to drive revenue growth from both existing (farming) and new businesses (hunting).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with architects, developers, and main contractors and create product awareness among architects and developers for product specifications in project tenders.
  • Collaboration and Independence: Work both independently and collaboratively within the sales team.
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Participate in project planning and ensure project progresses according to established installation schedules. Coordinate project efforts, supervise progress, and monitor rectification works.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Responsible for achieving individual sales targets and contributing to overall team growth by meeting sales goals.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Presents sales, revenue, and expenses reports along with realistic forecasts internally.
  • Logistics and Delivery: Liaise with the logistics department for the delivery of items for projects.
  • Project Support: Assist and support the project management team with progress claims and final accounts.


Key Requirements

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in project sales or selling building material related products to projects.
  • Able to communicate with different stakeholders and customers at all level.
  • Proactive and customer-centric with the ability to deliver to customer's satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated and a team player who can bring in new business and execute sales strategies to deliver successful results.
  • Experienced in working with contractors, architects, project developers and selling solutions based on their needs.
