Network Engineer (Trading)

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned and highly skilled Network Engineer to join a leading proprietary trading firm. The role encompasses L2 and L3 network infrastructure operations with some scripting and automation tasks. Occasional weekend/night work is required, depending on projects.

To qualify, you must have the following:

• At least 4 - 6 years of network engineering experience in finance/trading domain

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Layer 2 and Layer 3/routing protocols

• Expert in Multicast/IGMP/PIM

• Practical experience in scripting and automation

• Sound knowledge and experience in TCP/IP

• Familiar with time synchronization concepts such as GPS/NTP/PTP/PPS

• Technical expertise in firewalls (Cisco ASA/Fortinet/Palo Alto) is a plus

• CCNP/CCIE certifications in routing and switching are highly preferred
