[MNC Semiconductor] Regional Facilities Engineer-Water Systems

Job description

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Lead the design of UPW/WWT systems for construction projects, ensuring that operational and maintenance requirements are effectively incorporated.
  • Provide technical support and expertise across all sites, improving system reliability and minimizing production impact.
  • Lead a cross-functional team focused on operational excellence, collaborating with site systems engineers to ensure alignment on key initiatives.
  • Support the implementation and alignment of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) across facilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in utilities through variation reduction (SPC) and implement standardized methodologies such as SPC, conformance, SIPP's, MOC, and 8D problem-solving.
  • Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives, focusing on optimizing energy use and enhancing UPW/WWT system performance.
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance programs, ensuring effective procedures and consistent execution across sites.
  • Regularly communicate with site engineering and O&M teams to monitor system performance and resolve issues.
  • Benchmark equipment performance and implement Best-In-Class (BIC) practices to drive operational improvements.
  • Provide technical advice and support to overcome challenges in project planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with construction and engineering teams to ensure alignment and review site sustaining capital requests.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by tracking progress, ensuring the successful implementation of long-term sustainability strategies.

Ideal Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities engineering for UPW/WWT or chemical/gas systems, with at least 6 years in the semiconductor or related industry.
  • Strong background in construction engineering and extensive experience in operation and maintenance (O&M). Preference will be given to candidates with experience working as a Water Engineer, specifically responsible for the O&M of Water and Waste systems in a semiconductor plant.
  • Proven ability to lead global engineering efforts and collaborate effectively across multiple regions and teams.
