HFT Quantitative Researcher

Due to business expansion, a global hedge fund is looking for a Quantitative Researcher professional with High Frequency Trading experience to join their team in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on new and optimize existing high-frequency trading strategies
• Develop and backtest trading algorithms, implement and monitor trading strategies in real time
• Analyze market data to identify trading opportunities, and optimize trading strategies for profitability and risk management
• Keep abreast with the latest developments in the HFT trading industry and incorporate new techniques and technologies into the firms' trading strategies
• Collaborate with other traders and researchers to refine strategies and communicate findings

Requirements:

• Advanced degree/ PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or related field
• At least 2-4 years' experience in high frequency trading
• Strong programming skills in at least one leading programming language, such as Python or C++
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of machine learning and experience with statistical analysis
