Data Engineer

Job Description

Our client, a leading global hedge fund, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their high-performance team focused on building an advanced data platform. The position is based in Bangalore and will require relocation.

Requirements

• Ph.D., Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field

• Over 5 years of practical experience in data engineering

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python and C++

• Experience working in the financial sector

• Solid background in data analysis using tools like R, MatLab, scitoolkit, or PyTorch

• Strong SQL expertise

• Experience working on market data, High-Frequency Trading (HFT) or low-latency trading domain is a significant advantage
