Credit Risk Manager (SME & Retail)

About the company

I am working with a finance company that provides working capital loans to SMEs and consumers.

They are looking to grow their Singapore risk team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the creditworthiness of SMEs or Individuals in applying for loans or credit by analysing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data
• Evaluate counterparty risk that may arise from extending credit
• Develop and implement credit risk policies and procedures in compliance with organization and regulatory risk management practice
• Utilize credit scoring models to quantify risk and make informed lending decisions
• Communicate risk assessments and recommendations to stakeholders

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
• 8-10 years experience in credit risk analysis, underwriting or portfolio management - preferably with SME and consumer loans
• Conversational Mandarin required to liaise with internal stakeholders
