Business Development Manager, Payments
Job description
My client is key player in the mobile gaming and esports industry catering to millions of fans worldwide. They are looking for a Business Development Manager, Payments to join their team in their Singapore office.
You would bring expertise and payments industry knowledge. Building and maintaining relationships with payment partners. Focus on expanding and optimizing payments channels (cross-border payments) to provide payments solutions to the customers both locally and overseas.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships in the payment industry, engaging with both upstream and downstream stakeholders, including international manufacturers and game developers.
- Analyze trends and market dynamics within the payment industry, particularly focusing on the gaming sector, to establish new partnerships and deliver customized solutions for customers.
- Optimize existing payment channels while expanding and implementing new offerings for a more seamless experience.
- Work together with internal teams and external partners involved in overseas payment channels ensuring clear communication of needs and requirements.
- Work towards expanding market presence both locally and internationally.
Key Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in cross-border payment industry business development, engaged in business development, supplier management.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Experience in managing and expanding payment channels in e-commerce, payments, or internet companies would be ideal. Payments business development experience in gaming industry would be highly desirable.
- Strong analysis and research skills, to understand the payments landscape.
- Proficient in business negotiation and possessing business acumen.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a team member, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with various Chinese stakeholders is a plus.
