1 year contract Accountant

Our client is a leading manufacturing company.

Location: East

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable processing and conduct related account analyses and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain accounting records and handle GST-related documentation.
• Process expenses, employee reimbursements, and resolve payment issues promptly.
• Administer withholding tax submission and payment to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
• Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to facilitate audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within accounting systems and processes.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience in an audit firm preferred.
• Knowledge of GST and withholding tax is an advantage.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently or in a team.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
